Bimetallic nanoparticles have gained vivid attention due to their unique and synergistic properties. They can be used in fields such as solar cells, optics, sensing, well medicine. The generation of bimetallic nanoparticles, containing oxide phases both magnetic X-ray attenuating metals for bioimaging applications has been challenging with traditional chemical synthesis methods. An alternative is the from binary ceramics by laser ablation liquid. However, applicability this technique production hybrid consisting absorbing elements not demonstrated yet. In work, novel composed iron-tantalum, iron-tungsten, iron-bismuth were produced a reaction-sintering method. bulk samples characterized scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectroscopy, diffractometry. Applications of gold nanoparticles for medical imaging
Background & Aim: Molecular imaging enables us to non-invasively visualize tissue microstructures and lesion characterization, allowing accurate diagnosis of diseases at early stages. A successful molecular imaging requires a nontoxic contrast agent with high sensitivity. Nowadays, a wide range of nanoparticles have been developed as contrast agents for medical imaging modalities. Here, we revi...
متن کاملX-ray generation by femtosecond laser pulses and its application to soft X-ray imaging microscope
We have developed laser-produced plasma X-ray sources using femtosecond laser pulses at lOHz repetition rate in a table-top size in order to investigate basic mechanism of X-ray emission from laser-matter interactions and its application to a X-ray microscope. In a soft X-ray region over 5 nm wavelength, laser-plasma X-ray emission from a solid target achieved an intense flux of photons of the ...
متن کاملX-Ray Phase Imaging for Medical Applications
X-ray radiographic absorption imaging is an invaluable tool in medical diagnostics and materials science. For biological tissue samples, polymers, or fiber composites, however, the use of conventional X-ray radiography is limited due to their weak absorption. This is resolved at highly brilliant X-ray synchrotron or micro-focus sources by using phase-sensitive imaging methods to improve contras...
متن کاملConsider potential of gold nanoparticles with proton therapy compared with KV and MEV X-ray therapy.
Introduction: Many study shown the effectiveness dose enhancement with gold nanoparticles (GNPs), especially with low-energy x-rays. Recently, proton beam radiation therapy (PBRT) has attention as a treatment for tumors. The advantage in PBRT, which releases high dose at the controllable Bragg peak position that localized for Au target and the released dose increased in depth....
متن کاملFemtosecond X-ray magnetic circular dichroism absorption spectroscopy at an X-ray free electron laser.
X-ray magnetic circular dichroism spectroscopy using an X-ray free electron laser is demonstrated with spectra over the Fe L(3,2)-edges. The high brightness of the X-ray free electron laser combined with high accuracy detection of incident and transmitted X-rays enables ultrafast X-ray magnetic circular dichroism studies of unprecedented sensitivity. This new capability is applied to a study of...
